How’s Mom and TLC Management receive finalist honor from McKnight’s Tech Awards
Indianapolis, IN — August 10, 2026— How's Mom, in partnership with TLC Management, is honored to be a finalist in the Building Bridges category of the McKnight's Excellence in Technology Awards.
The long-running program honors providers and marketplace players that demonstrate how technology has improved care and operations. This year, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be granted across 14 total categories, which include two brand-new additions— Creative Use of AI and Tech Champion.
The program is a joint effort of McKnight's Long-Term Care News, McKnight's Senior Living, and McKnight's Home Care.
"Being recognized as a McKnight's finalist shows the extensive impact of How's Mom," said Justen Spirk, CEO of How's Mom. "Our automated care communications platform modernizes how care teams engage families and share real-time updates, creating a better experience for residents, families, and staff."
"The How's Mom app has been a game changer for us. It enables us to communicate easily with families while freeing up valuable nursing time," said Nick Snyder, TLC's Health Information Systems Director.
The recognition will be part of a two-day virtual event on September 15 + 16, which will include tech-focused educational webinars and conclude with the unveiling of the winners at a gala awards ceremony. Nominations were judged by an independent, external panel of industry experts.
